OVERVIEW OF ROLE
The Account Director, Applied Analytics role is here to bridge the gap between the Nestlé client and our internal practice areas of analytics. This position plays an integral part in supporting the timely delivery of complex analytical projects, articulating the requirements of different stages and keeping track of progress.
This includes developing a thorough understanding of the media marketing measurement landscape and being able to effectively articulate complex concepts in a digestible way to clients and internal teams.
We have a unique opportunity to raise the bar for analytics across Europe, working with some of the biggest brands on the planet. You will help drive the education of the wider local market teams on your approach to ensure the same principles ring true across the region, driving analytics excellence further still.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the Analytics Lead to design analytical projects, both at the European and global level, for example:
- Media Budget Optimization Engine
- Measurement Framework
- Attribution Model POV
- Experimentation Framework
- Aggregated MMM Analysis
- Keep track of analytics pipelines through Wrike (Project Management Platform), understanding project dependencies and requirements from each stakeholder. Engage with team members and clients to ensure timely delivery of all parts
- Assist the Analytics Lead in the documentation of analytics best practices, to be cascaded across European / global markets
- Provide valuable inputs into the design of analytical projects

Other requirements include:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in Applied Maths, Statistics, Economics, or Management (with heavily quantitative classwork)
- Experience in an analytical or strategic role
- Able to articulate statistical methods within a marketing context
- Self-motivated; self-starter; strong attention to detail
- Able to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Polished verbal and written communications skills
- Familiar with some theoretical / practical knowledge of the following techniques:

- Marketing or Media Mix Modelling (understand outputs, perform)
- Regression / Multi-variate regression analysis
- Ad Effectiveness research
- A/B Tests, Lift analysis, Multicell analysis
- Digital & Multi-Touch Attribution
- Media Mix Optimization, based on response curves
- Python
- Pivot tables, complex functions in Excel
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- Extensive experience using PowerPoint and delivering presentations to senior stakeholders
