The role

We are looking for a full time hunter with excellent consultative selling skills, industry knowledge / connections, and sales experience within the research / analytics space.   You will be joining our London office as UK Sales Director, reporting directly into our UK Managing Director.

The role focuses mainly on lead generation, content creation, networking and new client acquisition.

Initially there will be no direct reports into this role, but as the business grows there may be opportunity to hire and manage a sales team.

The main target of the role is new revenue.

Key elements of the role are new business development, outbound lead generation and providing feedback to others within the team regarding changing needs among prospects.



  • Education:
    • Bachelors degree required
    • MBA preferred but not required
  • Business and sales experience:
    • Early career – approximately 5 years of experience in some combination of data driven marketing, CPG marketing, consumer research client service (custom or syndicated) and/or marketing analytics
    • Later career – developed sales experience with a proven track record of delivering new revenue, setting targets and hitting them (3 years).  Preferably in combined software and services outsourcing deals
    • Must be fluent with external marketing data sources, including off and online media, how they are used, and the way that marketing teams make decisions
  • Domain knowhow and experience:
    • Data: external marketing (and research) data: consumer panel, survey, qualitative, and online and offline media
    • Intelligence: experience with data platform projects, business intelligence and/or marketing mix modelling.  Deep technical knowledge is not required.

Package Details

  • OTE – £140,000
  • Base salary – £70,000
  • OTE variables
    • Commission 40%
    • Bonus 40%
    • Profit share 20%
